This blog will begin to share toughts, tips and ideas about e-Professional Development that with contributions from you will turn into a discussion about what works in electronic and blended professional development.

Is there any professional development or learning that is solely delivered face-to-face (f2f) or just online anymore! I would submit not and start this entry by saying it is about aligning the attributes of technology with the instructional delivery mode (synchronous/asynchronous) with the instructional methodology being employed (case study, debate, role play, problem-based challenges, panel discussions, collaborative inquiry, etc.) to reach the desired learning outcomes you hope to achieve for the target audience.

So while this blog will be about e-Professional Development, if you cannot already tell, I'm a proponent of a blended solution that combines both f2f and online learning for a truly effective, efficient and deep learning experience.
